Sergeant Ray Turner
I am trying to trace any records of my late father.
My mother (now
in her 80’s) cannot remember too much nowadays so my information is limited. She tells me he was a sergeant at either the Staindrop or
Deerbolt army camps.
I think he may
have served with the Durham Light Infantry in some kind of training position. He was apparently killed in a motorbike accident after being demobbed.
Can anyone give me any information or guidance where I can find details of a father I never met?
